As a proud resident of Livingston, Texas, Joshua Grant embodies the spirit of family, community, service, and dedication to progress. As a veteran of ten years with the United States Navy, Joshua learned the value of service and leadership, being awarded both a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his leadership in Operation Noble Eagle, and a Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, in addition to several others. Joshua has also worked in the Rates and Regulatory Department at Xcel Energies, specializing in cases brought before the Public Utility Commission of Texas regarding electric rates and electric utilities. Additionally, he also owned and operated a furniture manufacturing and shipping and logistics company in Bali, Indonesia with over 30 employees and millions of dollars in revenue where he honed his skills in businesses ownership, international business, employee management, budget management, and leadership. Now working from home in Livingston for a company called HSI writing and teaching courses on industrial processes such as power plant operations and refinery operations, Grant brings a unique perspective of technical expertise and business, and a fresh approach to governance into the mayoral race in Livingston.

Driven by a passion for service and a commitment to transparency, Grant has been involved in local initiatives as President of Citizens of Livingston for Fair and Equitable Rates aimed at improving citizens' trust in local government, promoting sound economic policy, and enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Livingston. He believes in the power of collaboration and open communication with, and access to, local elected officials to address the challenges facing our community.

Throughout his career, Grant has demonstrated his leadership skills and ability to bring people together to achieve common goals. He understands the importance of fiscal responsibility and effective governance, and he is dedicated to ensuring that our town meets the expectation of being a vibrant and thriving place to live, work, and raise a family.

With a vision for a more transparent, inclusive, and prosperous future, Grant is committed to listening to the needs and concerns of all residents and working tirelessly to make our town a better place for all its citizens. He believes that by working together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous and resilient community for generations to come.
